Ingredients

Firm Tofu1 block (300g)
Potato Starch1 tbsp
Dashi Stock100ml
Soy Sauce1 tbsp
Mirin1/2 tbsp
Potato Starch Slurry1 tbsp
Grated Daikon Radish2 tbsp

Instructions

    Wrap the tofu in kitchen paper, place a weight on top, and drain for 15 minutes.

    Slice the tofu in half horizontally, dust with potato starch, and pan-fry both sides until golden brown in a non-stick pan.

    In a small saucepan, bring the dashi stock, soy sauce, and mirin to a boil. Thicken with the potato starch slurry.

    Arrange the tofu on a plate, pour over the thickened sauce, and top with grated daikon radish.
