Chicken Patties with Onion Sauce

Ingredients

Chicken breast mince200g
Onion1/2
Breadcrumbs2 tbsp
Salt and peppera pinch
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Mirin1 tbsp
Vinegar1 tsp

Instructions

    Finely chop half of the onion (for the patties), microwave it, and let it cool. Grate the remaining half.

    Mix the chicken mince, finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Knead well and shape into patties.

    Cook both sides of the patties in a non-stick pan. Cover with a lid and steam-fry over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from the pan.

    In the same pan, combine the grated onion, soy sauce, mirin, and vinegar. Heat over medium heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.

    Pour the onion sauce over the chicken patties. Serve.
