Ingredients

Sea bass fillets2 fillets (approx. 200g)
Soy sauce1.5 tbsp
Mirin1.5 tbsp
Sake2 tbsp
Sugar2 tsp
Water80ml

Instructions

    Pour boiling water over the sea bass to blanch it, then pat dry.

    Add water, sake, mirin, and sugar to a pot and bring to a boil.

    Add the sea bass, then add the soy sauce, cover with a drop lid, and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.

    Reduce the simmering liquid slightly, then pour it over the fish and serve.
