Ingredients

Skinless, thinly sliced chicken breast150g
Chinese leaf4 leaves
Dashi stock400ml
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Mirin1 tbsp
Salta pinch

Instructions

    Layer the Chinese leaf and thinly sliced chicken breast alternately to create 4-5 layers.

    Cut the layered ingredients into 5cm widths and arrange them tightly in a pot with the cut sides facing upwards.

    Combine the soy sauce, mirin, and salt with the dashi stock and pour into the pot.

    Cover with a lid and heat over a medium heat. Once it boils, reduce to a low heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Once the chicken is cooked through and the Chinese leaf is tender, it is ready to serve.
